Place is absolutely amazing. Definitely worth the few bucks it cost to get in! We made our way through the entire place, without rushing in under 3 hours! Highly, highly recommend:) FYI- the pyramid can no longer be climbed but still very cool

I love this place and it was a great place to take my family so that they could actually walk the ruins and feel the experience. It is hard to imagine the labor or the ingenuity that went into the creation of this area. It is so nice to be able to learn about the history of the area.

You must rent your own bike. I’m in good shape but it’s quite a distance between sights. I think it was 80 pesos. They just recently closed the big pyramid for climbing. It’s all very worth it. Lots to see here. Wear insect repellant

I've been dying to see Mayan ruins since I was a child. It was so amazing to walk through the jungle and see sites that have been here for thousands of years. Hire a personal guide! Not only are you learning so much that you wouldn't have known if you were walking it alone, but you're supporting the locals. Our guide was actually Mayan himself. He was raised there and grew up speaking the Mayan language (his name is Ezequiel, if you want to ask for him!). He spoke Mayan, Spanish and English for us. Told us so much. And even took some photos for us.

Such an impressive and magnificent site. The ruins of palaces, the intact sporting venues, and the massive temple are a must see. Unfortunately the temple is not open for climbing right now. Be sure to take a tricycle to the ruins, the drivers are knowledgeable and very hard-working. Our driver, Oscar #29, was superb.
