Daniel and Carlos are the best team of Spanish teachers we have encountered anywhere. (Across a few continents!!) Class sizes are small, and they are very attuned to the level of each individual, they work very hard to make the learning experience fun and our language performance measurable. They are also lifelong learners themselves and take a great interest in the culture and experiences of their students - this is rare among Spanish teachers, it connects the students to the Mexican culture through locals. We spent several weeks studying with them and enjoyed it far too much. We will be coming back to live in CDMX again some day, and no doubt will be in their classes. We are their biggest fans!! Bravo, chicos!

I found this school via Google maps and am extremely glad that I did. The teachers are professional with a laid-back vibe. The classes that I took helped to elevate me beyond the level of Spanish where I had been stuck. I would recommend this class to anyone visiting Mexico City who wants to learn Spanish the way Mexicans speak it, as well as to anyone who wants to build their confidence as a result.

I took classes for one month with Ricardo. Ricardo and Carlos are both great teachers! They offer a lot more than just learning from a book. I was learning about cultural references, slang and Mexican customs. Every class I could feel my Spanish improving. I recommend this school as a great way to quickly improve your Spanish.

For the past few years, I have previously taken Spanish classes in Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala, Argentina and the Dominican Republic. I can easily say that Ricardo and Carlos are up there with the very best Spanish teachers I have ever had. They both are amazing. They are clear, patient, personable and most importantly, very effective teachers. Their private classes are either in a cool cafe or in their Roma apartment with a big whiteboard and all the materials. There prices are really competitive (often the same price as a group class in other schools on CDMX). I can’t recommend them highly enough! Easily 5 stars.

Speak Like a Mexican was my first Spanish Lessons. I started from zero. Carlos and his brother were very welcoming and the atmosphere was not intimidating or judgemental. Carlos was my teacher and very helpful. I recommend this school for anyone at any level of Spanish.
