I was a bit disappointed about the food. We had a Bento box and it was extremely small for the price we paid. It was US prices but less quantity and quality. We left hungry which is a first. The rice was not made the Japanese way and the salmon was not the way I expect. The waiter was nice and the place is also nice, just the food was below my expectations. Not going back. Yes name is correct

I was walking around looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon GIN CHAN, it was a great decision to have dinner here, the fish is so fresh, they get it delivered every day and the menu changes every day. Totally recommended for anyone in the area looking for a Japanese place. Plus, the people that run the place are so nice and sweet, made me feel welcomed right away. I’m definitely coming back here. Also on Thursday there’s Ramen Night!

We stumbled upon Gin Chan last night when looking for a bite to eat. I was expecting to grab a sushi roll and go, which would have made me very happy. Instead, I was absolutely delighted by the entire staff. What was meant to be a quick pit stop turned into over an hour of great sake and even better food. I can’t wait to follow along as Gin Chan continues to serve high-quality food in Mexico City. Thank you!
