The patio with the hule trees is great. Alberto is extremely welcoming. Always get the Plato árabe and humus. The kibis are amazing!

Absolutely the most beautiful restaurant we visited on our trip, and possibly that I've ever visited in Mexico. Had a wonderful dinner. Attentive staff and lots of amazing seating options. We made a great family style dinner of the Celestun fish and classic Lebanese dishes. Owner was a hoot! We all left walking on air :)
Gosh, we went in as it was convenient and we were rewarded with great atmosphere .... out on the patio before the big rain where we moved to the lovely dining room .... and great service. Then came the food. We did not know they offered a Lebanese selection which we chose from and it was perfect! If they prepare this so well, the traditional Mexican option will be just a good. We are so happy we are here close by for this month, we will be visiting often. Highly recommend.
This Merida landmark closed its doors for good. On Dec. 22 me and my family walked into the place (It was open) and had a talk with Beto Salum, the owner. Who told us how fed-up he is with the Yelpers/Instagrammers of the world. So, he decided to call it quits... An amazing restauranteur who refused the current dynamic of the business. I am going to miss going to El Continental, I was taken to this place since I was 7 years old. The place is still immaculate. Respect to Beto Salum for not pleasing the hoards of entitled millenials who would not appreciate this place.
Good food, limited adult beverages available even though the menu list was extensive. Also, the beverage prices were very high for the city. The ambiance was wonderful!
The restaurant was closed on December 27th without any indication. This is a total lack of respect for the clients who are for the vast majority tourists like us. They don’t care about tourists as they are not here for a very long time. I will never go back there.
The eggplant and tahini is great. So is the Tabuleh and the constant supply of freshly made pita bread. The place is large, quiet, and has an open central area. Service was outstanding. Prices are fair. A great informal experience overall.
Eggplant dish was great. Lovely patio on a hot day. Celine Dion music threw me off though...
