I spent 6 months volunteering with CEA, and loved every minute of it! The staff was so welcoming and friendly. They helped me find the ways I could best put my talents to work in support of their mission. The Centro Ecologico Akumal is doing such important work to improve the environment, protect marine life and educate people on the importance of both.

We tried too visit it yesterday but it was closed for construction. Would be nice to have correct opening hours or directions on the website or a sign at the street. Also, it was very hard to find, it is the building behind the diving center on the right.

Pues como voluntario, ha sido una experiencia realmente productiva, aprendo lo que en ocasiones damos por hecho, sin embargo el fabuloso apoyo y paciencia de Elizabeth Vega, quien nos contagia de su energía, entusiasmo y su sabiduría, he aprendido muchísimo. Sin duda un excelente lugar para divertirse y aprender. Gracias a todos en CEA
Me fui al CEA a hacer un voluntariado de monitoreo de tortugas y me pareció una excelente experiencia. La gente del CEA son excelentes personas, muy amables y siempre atentas a que l@s voluntari@s estemos contentos. Tiene una excelente ubicación a pocos pasos del mar y esta cerca de restaurantes deliciosos. Recomiendo ir por algun tiempo a hacer un voluntariado. aprendes muchisismo y pasas un rato genial!!!
Me ha gustado ya que es la primera ves en un lugar como este supera mis espectativas, la gente es muy amable y genial
