Central Surf School is the best in Puerto Escondido! I have taken multiple lessons with both David and Rene, and they are both wonderful teachers. They teach you more than just standing on the board. They teach you about the ocean, the waves, the surf etiquette, which is all very important for beginners. 1 year after my first lesson with Central Surf and I am still doing surf trips with them :) Highly Recommend

Had a great surf lesson with Rene! He makes sure you know what you need to focus on before heading into the water, some stretching and away you go, guarantee you’ll be surfing first session at any age and I’m over 50, feeling like a kid again, give it a try and you’ll know what I mean. He had tips for surfing other locations around PE, Zicatela is the first stop! The beach break is safe, just sand, no rocks.
This is no longer the location of central surf. They are now on the main strip of Zicatela. Don’t be fooled!
