This beach is one you should visit when you are in Tampico. It's been developed since I last visited in 2008 while onboard MT Corrido (Laurin Maritime) and it's just keeps getting better every year I was told by the locals. Hope to visit the beach again when I have the opportunity. (I took these photos from our ship MT TEAM TOSCA while departing from Tampico, September 2019)

I enjoy the walk, surrounded by sea, up to this place almost everyday. The sea breeze is breathtaking and overwhelming.

A nice laid-back place that you can bring your own alcohol to and walk down the boardwalk feed the raccoons. Bring water the raccoons are all over and they need water more than they do food. They will eat out of your hand.
