From Santiago, Nuevo León continue towards Laguna de Sanchez, at Puerto Genovevo turn left and continue all the way to Las Adjuntas. There you may leave the car (if you were driving) and continue downstream following the river for about an hour. You will get to the Chipitin pond or “hole” where the Cascadas river meet the Ramos river. If you were to continue on the road past Las Adjuntas, you will get to Potrero Redondo and its magnificent water fall.

Un lugar escondido en el Pueblo de Potrero Redondo en Santiago Nuevo León. El recorrido es de 30 km ida y vuelta desde Puerto Genovevo y es necesario llevar un vehículo 4x4 para llegar al poblado y una vez ahí se tiene que descender caminando. Los lugareños te piden una cooperación de 50 pesos por persona para acceder a la entrada de la vereda. Vale mucho la pena, la cascada es hermosa y el agua cristalina.
