After reading some of the reviews, was a bit worried...but everything went smoothly and seemed organized. We purchased our tickets online the night before. The hotel printed them for us as that was the instruction on the ticket....not sure if you can just use the PDF qr code versus actually printing. Mar. 11, 2021...lots of signs and even the video on watches on way over touts COVID precautions, but didn't see any of that....no social distancing, no temperature check. Everyone we saw were wearing facemasks....but every inside seat was occupied. Quick service to Isla Mujeres with a frequent schedule....

easy process. ticket was about 15 RT. The trip was short, about 20 minutes in a very nice comfy seats, or you can go up and watch from the outside seat at the top of the boat
They do not really follow anti COVID precautions. Forget about social distancing and be ready to wait in a close line for at least 40 mins to get on the boat. Apart from that the is ride and smooth and convenient.
Very quick ferry to the island, live music onboard. Very attentive to lost items (agent came onboard when I forgot my credit card).
We loved the ferry, but a warning when you come back the Taxi's are going to try to over charge you. If you can arrange your ride from before companies like US transfer or any other will do the same ride for half the price. We came back & wanted to take the Taxi to the airport they started at 70 finally did it for 50 but this is still too much. We came from our hotel breathless and paid 48 which is double the distance. SO the ferry is great I just dont want people to get ripped off when they come back.
