Great service from a few employees; professional and efficient. Best to reserve directly on the Avis app or website for best, guaranteed rates. Make sure to research the insurance coverages and laws before renting a car in Cancun as most companies will try to scam you, even the big name national ones. Third party liability is the biggest scam, but already included in the rental rates at the minimum amount required by law; but all rental companies will make you think you have to purchase it. Do not fall for it and walk away!

Alejandro's service was quick and painless. He was able to get us an automatic and send us on our way. They have filtered water, wifi, and a battery charging station available in the lobby. It may just be \another rental car place\ but it could have been the inflection point between a horrible hang up and is getting on our way to the next place!
Process was smooth from the counter in the arrivals section all the way to dropping off the car. I declined all insurances since I am covered by my credit card, and drop off took only 5 minutes at 7am. I strongly recommend them.
No matter what time or day, always, \we only have one car left\. Was offered a compact/micro sized car for 151/day without insurance or taxes. No discount for weekly, or multi-week.
I saw some of the reviews on here but I can only go with my very own experience. They were good, professional, friendly and quick with service. They take you to the car rental shop from the airport and after your car rental dropoff, they take you back as well. If you read some of the other car rental businesses reviews, then there are some real concerns. Thrifty is by far one of the worst companies to deal with in the Cancun area, even the resort I was staying with gave me a heads up about that car rental company. One thing too note is, I did my reservations with an online site and the price was insanely cheaper than the Avis prices. Google cheap car rentals for Cancun airport and take it from there. That's just something to look into for your own if your looking to save some money yourself. If you ask me. I recommend Avis and will be using them again in this area at Cancun airport.
