One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Food was awesome, everything we had was phenomenal! Staff was super nice too. Even the chef came out and talked to us and brought out the food. They offered us a small complimentary appy and desserts that they created earlier that day which was fun to try. Plus, the decor and atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, this is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been too, would highly recommend!!

This place is fantastic. Service, food, and atmosphere are stellar. My husband kept saying it was the best food he has had in a while. We had the burrata and zucchini app, pork belly tacos, "short" rib and gravy and the fish in a tomato, caper, olive sauce. I did not care for the carrot cake dessert because I prefer very sweet desserts and it was more like a morning muffin. The short rib was huge, the fish cooked to perfection. My husband didn't share the tacos with me because he was in love. The place is gorgeous and COVID protections are well in place. The restaurant overlooks the ocean and even on a very windy day elsewhere it was not too windy and we ate outside. Service and kitchen staff were awesome setting up heaters, blankets, recommendations, the works! We spent about 200US for all that mentioned, another veggie side and some beers. Well worth it.

Very disappointed, set up reservations a month in advance, called to confirm and when I got there they said they're "very busy" and I would have the next table. After waiting for close to an hour, they said we were after another party that was waiting before us; completely different than what I was told when I got there. Rude and inconsiderate, ruined a night of our vacation. I noticed other families also leaving, must have had the same experience; looks like they seat the people from the resort ahead of other reservations. This restaurant is already a pain to get to, save yourself 3 hours of your vacation, and go elsewhere. In a city filled with hospitality and service, Picaro failed miserably.

What a gem! We had the most amazing dinner out on the terrace. The appetizers in particular were fantastic, especially the burrata and the roasted cauliflower which was to die for. We were so surprised that we were the only ones there but probably not surprising given that it is pretty new and it’s still Covid. The service was above and beyond and fun to see the greens growing just below where we were eating. Oh and did I mention the view? Just go! You won’t regret it.

We decided to try Picaro after hearing wonderful reviews! We were not disappointed, everything was wonderful! I had the papperdelle pasta with sausage, which was fabulous, my husband had the shorts ribs which he said were amazing and our daughter and her friend had the kampachi which they loved.... everything was a hit! The view was amazing, very cool vibe and decor! We stayed at Grand Solmar Rancho so it was a short shuttle from there, definitely a must!
