On Monday July 13, 2020 my girlfriend and I headed out on the Blue Tail for a full day, all inclusive fishing excursion. The Captain and Deckhand were early prior to our start time at 06:00. The dock was easy to find in the marina, and Captain Alfredo met us outside the gate. They provided us with lunch, our fishing licenses, full gear and tackle, and bait. The water was choppy in the morning but calmed down by the afternoon. The boat itself was very clean and had a restroom available for use. A full cooler stocked with water, sodas, and beer was also provided. Later in the afternoon, a shade cover was extended over the back of the boat which was awesome. Captain Alfredo is very knowledgeable and experienced. He also speaks great English. We told him that we wanted to catch Marlin, and he knew exactly where to go. The Captain and Deckhand set the lines. They had great eyes watching the lines for bites and the ocean for fish. My girlfriend and I caught 3 total Marlin! The Deckhand was helpful on instructing us how to reel in our catches. We were able to reel in the fish entirely on our own, up to the boat. From there, the Deckhand helped get the fish on board. It was a great day of fishing. We were beyond happy with our catches. We had the trip of a lifetime. I would definitely recommend this trip. We will be returning later this year and re-booking with Captain Alfredo. Make sure to bring your sunblock!

Fine group of professionals who know where to find the fish. It was unusually hot the day we went out, so the fish weren't exactly jumping in the boat, but we snagged a few dorado and really enjoyed the time on the water just trolling. Spied plenty of dolphins, a sea turtle and some sea lions. These guys are great and they also pack a mean lunch. I'd absolutely book a trip with these guys again.

Fished with Captain Juan on the BlueTail today. Juan absolutely killed it for us today! We went 2 out of 3 on striped Marlin over #100. One #35 wahoo to start the morning followed by a steady stream of Dorado 10-25#. Amazing day. Pulled the plug at 11:30am. This captain and crew and worth every penny and then some!

Captain Daniel and the crew took us out yesterday. 1/22/2020. This ended up being one of the best days on our vacation. Even if we wouldn’t have caught an amazing fish the crew made it so much fun! They made sure to help us capture special moments we don’t get to see everyday from sunrise, to whales, to waves and the cutest sea lions! By far this was an AMAZING experience and these guys clearly love what they do! To top it off we were lucky and my husband caught what he was after a nice size Marlin. Thank you guys for an awesome day and we hope to comeback!!

Captain Juan had everything ready to go when we got to the boat. We chartered the 8 hour all inclusive and had a tremendous time. We were targeting Marlin. We had the Marlin on but unfortunately it got off. But we did land a 110 lbs Sailfish. I highly recomend Captain Juan with the Blue Tail Charter.
