We love our stunning rental through Burro y Flauta! Both Cory and Mike are wonderfully welcoming and helpful. Have a question or concern? Beto, their concierge, is on top of whatever you need The houses are beautifully designed and the attention to detail is incredible. They don’t feel like rentals, they feel like home. Can’t say enough about how great this company is!!

My husband and I absolutely loved our week long vacation in Mérida at Casa Panda! The interior/exterior is gorgeous & super stylish...it had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable...plus comfortable beds! Mike and Beto were always available to help with our travel plans for day trips to Uxmal, Cenotes, and Celestún. They even hired a personal chef for us one night at an incredibly reasonable rate! All of the restaurant recommendations and local shops/services were on point. We highly recommend Mérida and Burro y Flauta for an awesome experience! We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed in Casa Osito for four nights with two friends, and then stayed on in Mérida but moved to Casa Flamingo for our final two nights. Both properties are stunning - they are exceptionally well designed and styled, but also very comfortable and well equipped. The beds are like clouds and the bathrooms are beautiful. Mike the owner is a very generous and welcoming host. He made sure we had everything we needed and more - his welcome pack is full of useful information and his communication was always quick and helpful. Both homes have beautiful pools too - Casa Osito has a lovely plunge pool and Casa Flamingo a more generous, family sized pool - we utilised both pools to the fullest as Mérida was especially hot when we were there. We can highly recommend both homes as five star properties in Mérida!

My husband and I spent four month in Merida this winter. While in Merida, we stayed in Kasa Caballo, Kasa Gatita, Kasa Koala, Kasa Jirafa and Kasa Flamingo for varying amounts of time so we are uniquely qualified to review Burro y Flauta Properties. All the houses are kept meticulously spotless and in showcase condition. Each house is beautifully decorated with great attention to every detail. Although there are many great restaurants in Merida, for those times that you just want to eat at home, each kitchen is well-stocked for anything you might need to cook on your own. All the houses have great locations in Centro and close to the plazas and restaurants, and each has its own private pool. It's hard to pick a favorite casa because they were all superb. Thank you Cory, Michael and Beto. You-all went above and beyond to make our extended stay a wonderful experience! As an aside, the two one-star reviews that have no written content on this site are not authentic and not made by someone who actually stayed at one of their properties. I only mention it because it's not fair that a company that goes above and beyond in service can be slammed by someone with a different agenda. Trust me, stay with Burro y Flauta when in Merida, and you will have a great vacation!
