Not worth it!!! Omg! You will feel cheated. Not only is it expensive for a 5 minutes ride to a hotel that is lucrative but you have to pay to come back down too. It's not a round trip and I'm sorry to say this, but the view is not that great from that side of town. I rather you go see The Statue of Chris, it has a better view of the town.

This was quite an experience but it was lovely. I've been to a few gondolas around the world and this one was a little bit different. Every time you arrive at one of those metal stations along your ride, you'll feel a little \bump\ but nothing too concerning. The view is AMAZING. You get to see the gorgeous Taxco scenery with all the white houses and the natural view of the mountains. A definite must. A cab charged us 35 pesos from the Zocalo. Do it! Very safe and fun. Remember to stop for a drink at the Montetaxco hotel, relax and then take the ride back!

5 dollars to go down and up and check out the magnificent view? It's a no brainer. :)
